We loved the location to the beach and boardwalk. It was great to be able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. We appreciated that the hotel provided umbrellas and chairs for the beach at no cost however you might want to have a sign or tell people at check in. We rented the first day because we didn't know the hotel provided them. The pool was really fun for the kids as well.
Sometimes the maid service didnt come until really late afternoon.
very accesable to beach
It was right on the boardwalk and the view from the room was of the ocean.
The beds in the room I booked were only double sized which was too small for a couple and the beds were not long enough as my feet hung over the bottom edge. However, I believe there are bigger beds available in other rooms, just not in the ocean view rooms.
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Too much! We were in an apparent addition and the room has an unmarked threshold that we tripped over every time. On the last day there was a brief power outage because of a storm. When the power came back the hall lights in our section did not! Coming in the evening my wife, with her hands full, tripped and fell. She has a nasty bruise on her eyebrow. When she called the desk the clerk told her there was no law saying the threshold had to be marked. The manager did come up shortly after my wife hung up. One of the adjoining room doors was open and no one had a key to lock it. They had to replace the phone the first night. The basket for the coffee maker disappeared after the first day.
The hotel is well situated in Rehoboth. It was very clean and a good size.
The view from the pool is great! Cant beat overall location.
Close to beach
The room and hotel was extemely warm. Air conditioning is controlled in the wall. Thermostat was set on 60 and I don't think it ever got below 80. The hallways are very hot. Not a way to relax. They changed my room to a different one after I already booked it because they had already filled it. It did not have a sofa in it. So I am not sure that I overpaid for the room. I didn't get to see the one that I signed up for.
Checking out early.
Our room wasn't what we booked and a kid threw up in the pool so they closed it for two days!! They didn't have the chemicals to fix it and didn't seem in a rush to get them. The bed was the most uncomfortable we'd ever slept on so we decided to check out early to at least get some money back. Very disappointed and would never go back.
The pool was out of commission r/t algae for our entire stay and I had to call housekeeping twice to get them to clean our room. I've stayed here before and I was very unimpressed with this visit. The kicker was, there was no compensation for these issues. The staff stated "It was an act of nature" but no other hotel in our vicinity had the same problem with their pool.
Overall appearance and cleanliness was not up to par, needsnan update
Waking up to the sound of the ocean. The refrigerator The microwave (although not used) Hot water in the shower The shears in the windows as well as curtains wi/fi The balcony The closet without doors
The dirty room (floor was not vacuumed) The smell of stale alcohol Placing my own trash bags in the trash cans The un-swept balcony with almonds and piles of sand on it The shower; not enough pressure to get my hair wet The holes in the blankets No coffee in the lobby (although coffee maker in room with powdered white stuff); nearest real coffee was 2 blocks away during off-season
Room very clean.
The facility is old and tired. Beds were awful--lumpy and full of creases in the mattresses. Tv had 4 channels that worked! Dreadful stay. Would not go back nor would I recommend it to anyone!!
Location to a great boardwalk and vacation spot.
The hotel staff was rude and promised to fix things wrong with the room but instead punched out at Sat. Night and left us wondering if we were going to get a knock on the door in the middle of the night.
Location, price, accommodations.
Very weak WiFi hookup; had to go down to lobby to access it.
location - very convenient!
beds very uncomfortable - dipped down in center making sleeping together difficult - had to sleep in speerate beds! Also the desk chair is too big for the rom (401) made it difficult to walk past to the balcony. SHould have something that completely tucks under the desk
